Snowed Under items

Everything you haul back to Kai, spend on the shovel, or miss around the old house.

Items Hub

Items in Snowed Under are not a hundred-weapon armory. They are fuel for the shovel loop. You pull scrap and food out of the snow, dump them at base camp, and buy a better tool, longer stamina, or bigger pockets. Keys open more scrap. Charms are the collectible that completionists actually get stuck on.

This hub splits the pile so sibling pages can cross-link:

Systems tutorials that use these items live under Guides: How to Dig for when to spend scrap, How to Survive for food and light, Achievements for quotas.

What is worth picking up

Always: scrap, cans, keys, documents (documents are not bag items, but they occupy the same building visits). Usually: wood if the fire is part of your day reset. Situational: glow sticks. Players said they underperform in open blizzard, better in interiors.

Do not skip outdoor charms. A Steam post in Chinese explained that four charms sit around the old house exterior. Indoor-only searches fail Patrons and related hunts. Walk the ring. Jump. Look at walls and snow lips.

What items are not

There are no Roblox codes. There is no battle pass shop. Coin gacha exists as Lucky Upgrade, which is still a shovel economy event, not a cash shop on this wiki. Boxes behind keys are often scrap payloads, which feels like a trick if you wanted a unique relic. It is consistent with Leave Nothing Behind asking for 100 scraps.

Patch 1.05 adjusted scrap counts. If a video from beta disagrees with your map, trust the live patch and the patch notes.

When you are done reading item pages, the upgrade planner turns the same facts into a spend order, and the map hub tells you which buildings to loot next.

If you are still deciding whether the loot loop is fun, the review hub explains why Mixed scores mention empty crates. If you already bought the game, ignore the store poetry and treat every pickup as either stamina, shovel power, or a collectible flag. That mindset keeps this hub useful after the trailer glow fades.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What should I loot first?

Scrap and cans near Kai. Keys when you see them. Charms whenever you pass a building exterior.

Are locked boxes story items?

Usually more scrap. Read documents on walls for story; do not expect every crate to change Ending B.

Where do upgrades happen?

At the shelter after you dump materials. See scrap and upgrades for the three stats players mention.
