Snowed Under tools
Checklists for scrap, endings, and Steam badges so you do not grind the wrong mountain.
These tools are wiki pages, not executables. They exist because launch players asked the same questions in Steam threads: what to upgrade, how to get Ending B, and which of the 17 achievements still hide in the snow.
- Upgrade planner — digging power, then stamina, then carry.
- Ending checklist — A then B, with spoiler warnings.
- Achievement tracker — all Steam badges, including Patrons.
They sit next to the long guides, not instead of them. New players still need Getting Started. Collectors still need charms and keys. Bug victims still need known bugs.
How to use them without spoiling yourself
Do the upgrade planner as soon as you have scrap. It has no story. Save the ending checklist until A Signal in the Snow is close. Open the achievement tracker whenever you want a box to tick after a dump.
None of these tools can invent official hidden formulas. Where Steam is silent, the pages say player-reported. If a patch moves a trigger, check patch notes (1.06 already did).
Why not a damage calculator
There is no DPS sheet. Wolves are not a raid. The mountain taxes time and stamina. A planner that ranked “wolf armor” would be fiction. We kept tools that match the real search queries: how to spend scrap, how to get endings, how to 100%.
When you are done ticking boxes, the review can still talk you out of a second playthrough. That is allowed.
Use one tool per problem. If the shovel feels weak, do not open endings. If Steam withholds B, do not open the upgrade planner. If you are missing a door, do not reread the review. Launch week threads mixed those questions into one pile, which is why this hub exists as three doors instead of a single messy FAQ. Bookmark the door you actually need, then go back into the snow.
These pages also exist so search engines can find “Snowed Under upgrade order” without dumping you into a 3-hour video. Use the planner during a dump, the ending list after the antenna, and the tracker on the couch with Steam overlay open. If a tool disagrees with a patch note, the patch note wins. That is the only hierarchy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Are these interactive apps?
They are structured checklists inside the wiki. Use them as lists while you play.
Which tool should I open first?
Upgrade planner. Ending tools can spoil the tower. Achievements can wait.
Will these stay accurate after patches?
We align them to Steam names and patch notes. 1.05 changed scrap; 1.06 changed triggers.
